About PMACThe Plants Market Access Council (PMAC) is a strategic partnership between New Zealand's plants products sector and government to support exports and enduring market access for New Zealand’s plant products.
An incorporated society established in 2002, PMAC members include horticulture, floriculture and seed industry organisations, exporter groups, service providers and government agencies. PMAC members agree strategies, discuss and prioritise market access activities undertaken by MPI and MFAT. PMAC members also provide input into how costs recovered from industry by MPI (Cost Recovered Funds) are used for activities and projects to facilitate plant exports and international market access. A pan-sector forum, PMAC provides a forum for sharing issues and emerging areas that impact plant product exports. |
